No way to remove flooring at second floor?
Ok, perhaps this topic have been up before, sorry if it has. I really love the new build mode, but the other night I tried to create a house and problems with the flooring nearly drove me nuts. I made a house with two floors, the floorplan downstairs is square shaped while upstairs is shaped like a L. The living room downstairs is supposed to have ceiling heigh all the way up to the roof. So, if you understand how I mean, no room on top of it.
As I can recall, this have been really easy to achieve in previous versions of The Sims. But now, I had a really hard time removing the flooring on the second floor to get the open space I wanted. I had to build fences round the stairs, which is really strange looking when there's nothing holding up the fence. At one point, I thought I managed to remove the fence around the stairs, but then I noticed that the windows on the second floor, next to the open space with no flooring, disappeared. Also, I can't put a roof on the freaking house. What the f?
I installed my game on Mac so therefore I don't have any printscreens at this point (anyone know how to take printscreens with a Mac keyboard so I can show you?).
Is the flooring really supposed to be this hard to remove? Why can't we just remove floor tiles like in the old days?
